DESCRIPTION:\nThe Topic: This is an overview of the use of captive strategies that may be employed when advising an existing or prospective client.  The topics covered include a review of the history of the captive insurance industry; an analysis of the legislative and legal history; and instruction on the Formation, operation and exit strategies for a variety of captive structures that may be available to clients.\n \nThis program has been certified for 1 CLE (Advanced level, #1401848N, "Post ATRA Opportunities to Use Captive Insurance").\n \nOur Speaker:  Mr. Brown is an an Estate Planner and Business Wealth Specialist for Key Private Bank’s national estate planning group.  He holds a BA in finance, an MA in international management, a JD, and a master of laws in taxation from the University of Denver. He is a past president of the Centennial Estate Planning Council and sits on advisory boards to Colorado Public Radio and the Denver Foundation.
