DESCRIPTION:\nTony will bring us "Wisdom From The Battlefield: Techniques and Takeaways From IRS Audits and Shareholder Disputes."  This will be a presentation that is certain to be relevant for every Council member and all of our related colleagues. \n \nMr. Garvy, ASA, CPA/ABV/CFF, CVA, FCPA, CDFA, is President of Corporate Valuation Services, Inc. (“CVS”).  Prior to forming CVS, he was Managing Partner for valuation and litigation support services at the firm Chadwick & Garvy LLC.  He has appraised billions of dollars of equity interests throughout the country and given court testimony in taxation, partnership and shareholder disputes, divorce matters, intellectual property litigation, rendered fairness opinions and solvency opinions.  Mr. Garvy has been a Director for several corporate and charitable institutions.  Notably, Mr. Garvy was Chair of the Board of Directors for Vegetable Juices, Inc., a closely-held food ingredients manufacturer that was successfully sold to a French publicly-traded company, Naturex SA.  \n \nRESERVATION DEADLINE:  September 14, noon\n \nColleagues and professional friends are always welcomed guests.  We are proud to share our Council's activities with them.  Should they wish to be considered for membership, an application is available on the [www.epclc.org](http://www.epclc.org/) website, under "About" - "Documents".\n \nReservations: Note that your reservation is not complete until you see ""Event RSVP"  and the "Thank You" for your reservation.  Select one of the menu choices.  Members then select "pre-paid."  Guests ($35) then select either "pay at the door" or "credit card or PayPal". \n
