DESCRIPTION:\nThe topic speaks for itself.  Now, something about our speakers:\n \nPeter Knize, Senior Vice President of Trust Services, Investors' Security Trust, was in private practice 12 years in the areas of estate planning, probate, trust administration, taxation, corporate law, business succession, real estate, probate & trust litigation.   He received his B.S. in Cardiopulmonary Science from UCF; a B.A. and M.A. in History from USF;  J.D. from NSU; and LL.M., Estate Planning, U.M.  Peter is a member of the Florida and North Carolina Bars; Sarasota, Charlotte and Lee County Bar Associations; American Bar Association (Real Property, Trust & Estates; Tax Sections); and Federal Bar Association.\n \nMichele Hoover is one of the Managing Partners of Solomon and Hoover CPAs PLLC, and has over 25 years of public and corporate accounting and auditing experience.  Her client services and specialties include individual, corporate and estate tax planning.  Her wealth of experience spans a wide range of industries.  As a QuickBooks® Certified Pro Advisor since 1999, Michele taught Mastering QuickBooks® for Real World Training, the only Intuit-endorsed instruction program in the United States.  Michele is a Certified Public Accountant, Registered in Florida and Ohio.  She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  She is a member of the Board of Directors of Betty Allen Gynecologic Cancer Foundation, and an active member of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce.\n \nMarve Ann M. Alaimo, is a partner of Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP, based in the Naples office, who focuses on estate planning and wealth preservation. She has nearly 20 years of experience in estate and charitable gift planning, probate and trust administration as well as estate and trust litigation and guardianship. Marve Ann emphasizes conflict avoidance and cooperative problem solving as foundational elements of an estate plan.  She is a Florida Bar Board Certified Wills, Trusts and Estates lawyer and has served as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator.
